America in the mid-1980s. In the midst of the AIDS crisis and a conservative Reagan administration, New Yorkers grapple with life and death, love and sex, heaven and hell. The Play consists of two parts – ‘Millenium Approaches’ and ‘Perestroika’. Andrew played the role of Prior Walter on both the West End and Broadway revivals of the show and won his first Tony award for it and was nominated for an Olivier award.
